The Charlie Horse Milk’It is a prostate butt plug by SquarePegToys, my favorite plug maker as a result of their Egg Plug’s excellence.
The Milk It Plug has 3 waves culminating in a point – made for hands-free P-spot play, as you walk with the Charlie Horse plug inside.
The Charlie Horse Milk It teases the spot in Super-Soft silicone, rather than milks the prostate firmly like Pure Wand or Aneros, for example. Here are my findings from testing the Charlie Horse lineup of butt plugs, focused on the Milk’It original size:
Square Peg Toys Milk It Plug review + Mega Milk’It
I find the Milk’It in SuperSoft silicone the lightest touch. It is already wide at up to 2.2″ diameter (front to back) – but 1.67″ left-to-right. The Milk It plug’s waves press so softly: A small pressure point at the bottom, then the soft touch above.
It’s made to be wearable while walking – yet, to get the action started, I find I must do some light anal clenching (“kegels”).
It’s possible I had unrealistic expectations going in, about how much the Milk It plug would … well, milk it. I wasn’t thinking it would automatically wave like the Automatic P-spot massager, wiggling its tip to stroke the prostate. But the amount of movement is minimal. Of all the SquarePeg plugs I have, so far the Milk It is the one I have never gotten the hang of.
The Mega Milk’It, however, I got at the same time, and it does feel like more. Because it is! More expansive stretch + noticeable points. It’s very wide at 2.53″ diameter, and this is the one I think feels most impressive (in Super-Soft density). I would choose SuperSoft silicone for the Mega Milkit no doubt, but firmer density Black for the normal SquarePegToys Milk It plug.
The Kidney Plug and the Happy Hour remain my personal favorites for P-spot enjoyment while walking: The Kidney’s a level of width and gentle enjoyment – awesome to wear around. Like an Egg Plug for prostate stimulation, a satisfying fill.

Design: Kidney Plugs vs. Milk’It Form for Prostate Stimulation
Each Milk’It plug relies on a cut-out shape, with 3 lines for stimulation above. The idea is that they’ll move automatically, as the person wearing a MilkIt walks. For “massage on the go,” if you will. For me this was less effective than anticipated, but YMMV.
In contrast, the Kidney Plugs by SquarePeg have a greater broad touch, while retaining the P-spot curve. (In all prostate stimulation butt plugs, the toy’s forward curve should angle toward your cock& balls = anterior side of the body).
Finally, a last option you should pick up if you want prostate stim in a squeezable silicone: The Happy Hour plugs. These are IMHO the best “wear it around” prostate touch. The point in front applies the most direct impact, as the neck and bulb behave like a squishy finger above your spot. I got the S4 size Happy Hour a couple years back, and was so pleased with how easy it is to wear walking around my home – the prostate point size is just perfect – that I haven’t felt the need to size up, like the Egg Plugs practically beg you to take more.
SquarePegToys Super-Soft Silicone vs. Firmer Silicone
I heartily recommend FIRMER BLACK silicone for the Milk’It plug in retrospect – I need to go back and buy that density here. The waves of the original “prostate milking” plug in super-soft silicone are just interesting. I find that they aren’t enough pressure for amazing-ness:
Even tho I am the biggest fan of the Egg Plug’s same super-soft silicone, for wearing around all day, the Milk’It in super-soft is less effective.
For better prostate stimulation, then, you must get the firmer silicone. We currently have a small Egg Plug in that harder blend, and can attest it’s not as squishy and flexible. This is good for centering your focus on the prostate gland – you want pressure.
How to Use Charlie Horse Milk It, Charlie Horse Kidney, or Happy Hour Plug
Keep in mind that all these SquarePeg Toys soft silicone butt plugs are wider than average. They dwarf an Aneros massager for example; and all (besides Happy Hour S2) are well above standard butt plug diameter (1.5″).
Therefore, you must have some practice with anal width stretching. A Milk It, or Kidney, or even Happy Hour is not a great first butt plug. Super-soft silicone gets great once you’ve trained your ass some. At least several weeks with a first trainer plug kit, or a month or two trying out standard plugs and small dildos.
Then, to use a SquarePeg Milk It Plug or Kidney Plug:
- Have your good anal lubricant ready. Typically, I’m using liquid virgin coconut oil.
- Use a lubricant applicator to lubricate your hole. Alternately, lubricate the outside of the silicone plug only, and be ready to re-apply as lubricant runs down.
- Insert at your own speed: Be sure you’re adequately warmed up. When done properly: Your hole should begin to suck the plug’s width you, you shouldn’t be forcing it.
- Once the plug is fully inserted, its front, perineal tab should maintain a slight angle against your pelvic floor.
- Perform a few light contractions of your PC muscles (clenching your asshole, and beyond). Do so while breathing deeply, as in the beginning steps of working toward a prostate orgasm.
- Feel the sensation the plug is applying, as you sit or rest. You can walk wearing it too, but may find its harder to focus then.
- Enjoy the fullness and contractions as they occur.
Overall Thoughts
The pros of the Milk’It plug:
- Platinum cured silicone, great quality.
- Smooth, handmade.
- Actually unique design.
- Point at bottom presses gently.
And cons of the Milk’It:
- Gentle pressure is non-damaging, but may not be enough stimulation.
- Flange + P-tab don’t offer much motion.
- Not a bad buy if you enjoy soft silicone – but go Aneros or Njoy for maximum prostate results.
I don’t dislike the Milk It plug, but also don’t find it very fulfilling. Over the Charlie Horse Milk’It, both the SquarePeg Kidney Plug and the Happy Hour remain my personal favorites for P-spot intensity while walking / moving around. The Kidney’s a level of width and gentle enjoyment – awesome to wear around. Like an Egg Plug for prostate stimulation, a satisfying fill.
The Happy Hour is a smooth, soft pressure point with a curved fingertip shape above. It’s not the intensity of receiving anal sex or pegging, but does leave you with a good feeling as you go about the day.
