If you’re researching the best tool to reach prostate orgasm, you’ll soon wonder: What’s best, Aneros vs. Njoy Pure Wand?
These two – all Aneros brand toys, and Njoy Pure Wand – are the prostate stimulators most likely to produce results. Firm P-spot stimulation leading to hands-free orgasms and prostate centric Super O’s.
It’s a dramatic difference between the two kinds of prostate massager, I’ve found: one is the most pressure, while another is easier to position. What I’ve discovered on why to try an Aneros or Pure Wand, after 7 years of enthusiastic prostate toy testing:
Aneros vs. Njoy Quick Recap
The Aneros massagers are likelier to find the spot, easily, if you’re new to prostate stimulation. They’re light and easy to carry. The stimulation is more subtle.
The Pure Wand by Njoy gives heavy-duty focus. Heavier and incredibly stimulating, strong. Your ass will lock it in place. But you may need to explore positions more, to find your spot. It’s more work to situate. Some newbies press into the bladder for more leaking with the Njoy wand (less a problem with Aneros). Others go too hard, and bruise themselves internally. Yet, the Pure Wand garners more “mind blowing” reviews.
After you get some Pure Wand practice in, I agree that the Pure Wand is the #1 prostate orgasm dildo.
Aneros Pros & Cons
Aneros prostate massagers include the Aneros Helix, MGX, Eupho, Psy, Maximus, and Progasm.
Pros
- Lighter-weight. (Easy to travel with.)
- Overall easier to position.
- More models and shapes vs. Njoy Pure.
- Can be worn anally during penile sex.
Cons
- Less solid impact vs. Njoy.
- Solo toy only: A partner cannot do this for you.
If you’re a beginner at prostate stimulation, you’re most likely to find the special “male G-spot” with Aneros – rather than overshoot.
Most Aneros shapes** are available in Syn Trident (silicone coated) vs. just Trident (slicker plastic) versions. (**Psy is only in silicone, while the Progasms are only in plastic.)
Those Aneros toys are non-vibrating massagers that work through your ass’s natural contractions. This is a distraction-free way to “rewire” and move toward the super O. However, I understand liking vibrating butt plugs – they can be much fun – so there is an Helix Syn V that vibrates, or the Aneros Vice 2 prostate vibrator.
Njoy Pure prostate Pros & Cons
The Njoy Pure Wand is the prostate dildo you will not hear the end of – it’s a classic, because it’s incredible once you get it hitting that spot. A million times worth testing out.
Pros
- Unrivaled prostate pressure.
- 2 size & focus options: 1″ bulb vs. 1.5″ bulb.
- Locks in and gets your kegel contractions moving naturally.
- Medical-grade stainless steel. (Doesn’t leach aluminum.)
- So slick & suitable with silicone lubricant.
Cons
- More work to position – although this can be a great exploration, too, finding your spot and how the Pure Wand works for you.
- Not recommended to fly with – concerns over TSA confiscation.
If you’re tempted to get a Pure Wand imitator, I say go for the quality of the original Pure Wand. A cheaper copy is may not be medical-grade stainless steel – you get what you pay for – and there’s a good chance it’ll arrive with surface markings, not mirror-polished smooth like the OG, Njoy’s Wand. I’ve bought a “Rouge” wand out of curiosity, for example, and it arrived in a padded case – yet inside, before it touched anything in my home, it was covered in small lines and nicks. It also weighs approximately 10% less vs. the Pure Wand, most noteworthy in the bigger bulb. Njoy does not sell on Amazon, so don’t buy a cheap version of “pure g-spot wand” there, to avoid a lower quality copy.
Aneros Plug vs. Njoy Wand Dimensions
Aneros massagers average 1″ diameter, near the head or tip: that’s the part that’s most directly contacting your prostate gland, during an Aneros massage. This is beginner-sized, so you don’t need to be a pro at anal width stretching.
The Eupho is Aneros’ P-spot plug with slimmest head width, whereas the thickest Aneros tip dimension goes to Progasm’s 1.28″. Yet, these widths aren’t the full story since for example, the Psy makes 0.33″ diameter focuses contact, while even the broader Progasm focuses prostate gland touch over 0.7″ diameter.
Find Aneros’ “Need help choosing?” recommendation tool, here. The MGX and its slightly thicker size + ribbed neck are my personal favorite, while the Psy offers most pressing-in focus, and Helix is the happy medium.
Aneros massagers are all 3.5″ to 3.8″ insertable length – since most users will only need 3″ or less depth for a great prostate massage.
Similarly, the Pure Wand can be inserted up to 4.75″ length, yet most guys will only need it inserted a couple inches to more than successfully reach the spot. If you probe much deeper, you’re more likely to press against the bladder with the Pure Wand’s weight.
The Njoy Pure Wand’s 8″ total length contains the two bulbs, of 1-inch and 1.5-inches diameter respectively.
Which Pure Wand side to choose? Go with the 1-incher for the most prostate pressure, concentrated. It hits the spot (once properly situated), if any sex toy ever did. But, I myself find the 1.5-inch Njoy wand side my better prostate orgasm choice, simply because I prefer more thickness.
About Prostate Orgasms
The Super-O may be elusive. The prostate gland is called “the male G-spot” sometimes, and the analogy extends to the fact that – like with women and G-spot stimulation – cumming from this spot is much easier for certain individuals than others. Some people reach it after only a couple weeks’ trying, after intro Kegels. In contrast, others try for years, yet are still not hitting the “jackpot.”
So here I think it’s important to say that stimulating your penis is not failure, if you’re trying for prostate orgasms but haven’t reached that place. Say you’re having harder penis orgasms after P-spot stimulation, but aren’t getting the Super O – this is really common. In this case, you’re still receiving more pleasure. “Comparison is the thief of joy,” so what matters is having fun with all the pleasure you are getting.
One “cheat” is trying some THC or even gummies, a short time prior to initiating the prostatic playtime. This may help you allow your mind to relax, and focus on deep breathing and just feeling all the feelings – instead of fighting for an orgasm. I’ve learned, you gotta ride the waves of arousal, contraction, sensation, ebbing interesting…and growing desire again. No stress. Just enjoy.
Njoy Pure Wand Positions – Top 4
For some, the Njoy Pure prostate wand will just find its place naturally: Your ass locks it into place, you almost instantly start contracting (a sign anal arousal is growing and orgasm is approaching). You may cum in 3 minutes, or less. And want to run out and tell everyone it rocks, from how good your Pure Wand orgasms were.
Or. You might need to experiment, to find your best angles + Pure Wand positions. Nothing works for everyone, so this isn’t an exhaustive list: the key is to let yourself feel, have a clear unstressed frame of mind, and listen to what your ass tells you about what’s good.
- Lie on your back: with your knees bent, so your feet are flat on the bed; 1-2 pillows (covered by a towel) under your behind. Lightly rock the Pure Wand, using the non-inserted bulb as a handle. Add more pillows under your butt, if reach is difficult.
- On your back, with the Pure Wand angled toward your dominant hand. For example, here I have my right hand between my mid thigh and the Wand’s bulb, as the Wand’s curve arcs along my inner thigh. Push outward with your ass, then use your hand to push it back in, and repeat.
- Leaning over a chair: This is a wilder one, and works better if you have the big bulb inserted (less weight dangling outside). As your anal muscles clench, the Pure Wand will move itself, automatically. Less comfortable long-term, fun for a bit.
- Bounce & grind. You on your back, the Pure Wand curving toward your back (not your belly, like normal). Start by situating the Pure Wand by hand, so its bulb is pressing against your prostate gland – you will feel it. Rock it lightly by hand, and then let the wand rest against your tailbone. Now you’ve found the spot, you can bounce on the Wand hands-free.
- Your partner holding it: Like #1, with your butt elevated so they have best access. Lila (my gf) will stradle me, facing my feet, and rock the Pure Wand slowly, with increasing insistance into my prostate gland. This is insane, the best overload of prostate stimulation.
What Anal Lubricant should you use?
In choosing lubricant for Aneros vs. Njoy Pure Wand, I’d say: Go slick or go home. A slicker, (not off-the-shelf water based, it dries up fast) will keep your hole better situated for extended anal play.
As the Njoy Pure Wand is stainless steel, it is compatible with silicone lubricant. This is good because silicone lube lasts and last, in contact with the 316 stainless steel. It is slippery if over-applied, however: only use a small amount to start.
Aneros Syn Trident toys (silicone coated) are best to avoid silicone lubricant on: these are colored black, mostly. The white Trident models are OK with silicone lube, in contrast.
If lacking silicone lubricant, I’ll pull out my favorite liquid coconut oil as anal lubricant for the Njoy – vs. Aneros, which is always very good with the coconut oil for hours.
X-Lube is another good choice if you’re fine with mixing a new batch every 2 weeks.
