WIDER. Anal stretching to add girth is an expansive exercise – one I’ve found very worthwhile when undertaken slowly and deliberately. Getting stretched and filled to the brim is like no other sensation. Once you successfully train to expand your hole, you’ll keep that stretching ability for at least several weeks, or maintain and improve it long-term if you play regularly.
Like Training Muscles
As you expand your hole, you’re training the surrounding muscles + tissues inside the rectum to take more, to hold more, to stretch more. Comparing anal stretching to increased lifting at the gym is an obvious choice.
Like training any muscle, you’ll want to progress consistently – in gradual steps, not huge leaps. The same as if you were adding weight when bench pressing: you only add ≈ 5% more weight at once. Extreme exertion, in contrast, can hamper your progress by causing injury.

- Warmup. Lubricant is crucial here. Also, pre-game by using a smaller plug first, if you’re about to stretch past what’s normally easy for you.
- Headspace. Learning to relax your sphincters is a process. You’re handling how to let go of any fear of penetration or anxieties about anal, in addition to the physical hurdle of opening not just the inner sphincter – easier to control – but the external sphincter bordering it. Anal Anatomy
Beginning right past the anus, entry into the rectum is ringed by two bands of muscles – the sphincters. This sphincter-surrounded area is the anal canal, a tighter gateway that one may train to relax.
Past the anal canal and sphincter muscles is the rectum. The rectum may be shorter or longer, varying a few inches individually, but distance from anus to sigmoid colon averages 7.48″ / 19cm.
Then, you’re moving into the beginning of the sigmoid colon. It’s a sharp curve after the rectum, which one needs to train to straighten out. The colon also has its own closure mechanism: another sphincter. Be sure to not insert water this deep while douching, lest you get a watery surprise later.
